“BE in UA” is a platform for the development of Ukrainian brands in Dnipro. “We have been developing Ukrainian brands and helping local businesses grow for four years. Before the quarantine, markets for 100 participants and 5,000 guests were held every month. An educational platform for entrepreneurs was built, and the first fashion hub was planned to open in Dnipro.” Even though 75% of turnover was lost, and plans for further development had to be frozen, “BE in UA” was transformed into a startup and new digitalization opportunities are being tested. All our business was concentrated offline, so quarantine has become a real challenge for us. We lost more than 75% of turnover, all markets were canceled, and the idea of a fashion hub had to be frozen! After two weeks of stress and anti-crisis sessions with the team, the market format has been digitalized! This is how the first insta-market of local brands appeared in Ukraine. More than 20,000 people have already tested the new model. It feels like we are a small startup again, fast and creative, ready for new challenges and opportunities!
