Ukrainian Catholic University is a private secular and religious pedagogical institution in Lviv, the first university founded by the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. “Last year marked 25 years since we started from scratch in Lviv. In the beginning, we had a small room in a kindergarten. And today, we already have three campuses where we can teach several thousand students. The main idea of our university is to educate a person as a whole. Education can be obtained everywhere.” It was sad to close the doors of the educational institution. Still, technically it was possible to transfer all training to the online mode because a platform for online training was already established and working. No one expected that such processes would take place: that borders would be closed, that planes would not fly, that there would be no communication between people. But it happened. As soon as the quarantine was announced on March 12, we switched to online training almost the next day. The students went home with the appropriate tools, and all our lectures are up according to the schedule. We quietly closed the door without tension.
