“Creative World” is a store of goods for creative people in Kropyvnytskyi. “Our business was established seven years ago. In Kropyvnytskyi, we were the first to combine so many materials for creativity in one space. We also experienced difficult times: fluctuations in the dollar exchange rate, a decrease in customers’ flow, and re-profiling.” Upon receiving the quarantine news, the doors of the store were closed with the concern not to open them again. When we were told at the beginning of the quarantine that the next day the store doors should be closed for two weeks, we were in despair, but we did not lose optimism. The most painful moment was the destruction of fresh flowers, with which we have recently begun to work. During the quarantine, the flowers would die, so we gave them to friends. Some were thrown away all together. The worst-case scenario is being considered, but we still hope for the best. “It’s hard to think about closing a business. No one has abolished taxes, and employees also have to pay rent and salaries. But when we come back to work is unknown. Will our “World” survive? Time will tell.”
