During 30 years of its existence, it is not the first time the word “crisis” has been heard in a dental clinic, but in any situation, there are two polar sides: panic and new opportunities. Marianna gravitates towards the second one. “We always work, even now, unlike others. We have one of the most prominent stories in Lviv. Our clinic is more than 30 years old. It is a family business. This is not the first time we have heard the word “crisis.” Before that, there were 2008, 2014, and so on. It is the matter of how you use it: someone starts to panic, being hysterical, and someone is looking for opportunities for growth. Marianna turned the situation in her favor, continuing the repairs without limiting the clinic’s workload. “To make the needed renovations, we need to close the clinic or limit admission. So we can have half of the clinic working, and the other half under development, undergoing repairs and rebranding.” In turbulence times, Marianne focuses on the calmness and motivation of other team members to do their job without panic. It is now vital to stay calm and get the team to work smoothly. Sure, we had some fear among the team, but it’s ok now. We did a coronavirus test for everyone; everyone was negative; everyone was happy and ready to continue working.
