Artjoker is a company that develops solutions for e-commerce and fintech. “During 13 years on the market, I remember 2008 most vividly, when literally in a week, 90% of customers stopped projects or suspended work. We were still very young then and not ready, but the company was small (up to 7 people), so we relatively easily switched to other tasks.” We had to enter the quarantine reality quickly and with maximum concentration. “We needed to ensure the sufficient work of the team remotely. This fact imposes new administrative rules, such as morning check-ins, evening check-outs, daily schedules, additional reporting, and more. The main priority today is to keep the staff and come out of quarantine in full force. My main goal is to save the team, regardless of how customers will pay. I almost immediately announced to the team that our priority is them. And even if we are forced to make unpopular decisions, such as moving to part-time work, our overall goal is to work together after the quarantine is over.
