Softjourn is an IT company with an office in Ivano-Frankivsk, which deals with solutions in ticketing. “Our primary customers are America, Europe. And we are probably one of the top companies in the world in the field of ticketing. Ticketing is the sale of tickets, event service.” In Ukraine, the IT company opened an office in 2007, so undergoing two crises helps to cope with the current challenges. “2008 was the toughest year for us. At that time, two clients who provided 60% of the income left us. The marketing department fairly quickly found new customers. Then we grasped how to communicate with employees properly. We then realized that honesty and openness are much better than just being positive.” But even in difficult times, Serhiy thinks about how to preserve people’s culture, not profit. For me, people are always the main thing. Save the people whom I call the keepers of culture and processes because they are the core of the company. Anything can happen, but with these people, I will get back on my feet and start all over again very quickly. Because they know how to do it culturally, and that’s probably the most important thing for a company right now.
