Grico Group is a trade network of construction and finishing materials with an office in Chernivtsi, one of the largest in Western Ukraine. Over the 25 years of its existence, the company has repeatedly faced crises and difficulties, but the current situation does not feel the best for the company. The main stage of development, the strongest push, was during the first crisis in 2008-2009. Many market players were not ready for that crisis. We took that opportunity. But now the feelings are distressing. We closed all the retail. People are at home, without money, in severe condition. I try to help as much as I can. But I am also in a difficult situation because there are loans that no one has canceled, there is interest on loans that no one has canceled, there are taxes that no one has canceled, there are leases that no one has canceled. The whole list of them. Some manufacturers and suppliers went to concessions. But others say: these are your problems, you solve them, look for money. How should one find them? Now we are acting on the situation because changes happen almost every day. But despite the difficult situation, Serhiy tries to keep the most important thing – the backbone of the team and people loyal to the company.
