“Honir” (“Honor”) is a brewery based in Ivano-Frankivsk and offers customers craft beer and kvass. We offer not only a product but also a culture. As craft brewers, we carry a beer consumption culture mission, as it is still weak, but it is already beginning to be a culture, not just drinking some alcoholic beverage. The main goal now is to arrange delivery and go to retail, small shops in residential areas. “Like everyone, we switched to beer delivery. Now we have started to communicate more with beer lovers on social networks, and thus we have started to promote our sales and distribution.” Regarding the near future, Yevheniy’s forecasts are not very optimistic. “We are not doing very well, to put it mildly. Hard times await such small breweries as ours. HORECA will suffer, as it will be the last to open. People are unlikely to spend a lot of money at HORECA until the economic situation improves a bit. Also, most Western Ukraine is highly dependent on foreign workers’ income. And as soon as they start sending money here again, then everything starts to move on again. And it will not be before September, probably.”
